Debra Gilluly
Trustee
Debra Gilluly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tennessee Tech University and spent 18 years in
Management Consulting with Accenture, Oracle, and IBM. She returned to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas and is now a licensed Nurse Practitioner. Debra has filled several roles at both SGCS and SMCA over the years including School Nurse and participation on the parent volunteer boards of both schools. Most recently, Debra served as the President of the Warrior Parent Council for two years and was instrumental in merging the parent associations from both schools into a cohesive single entity to support the needs of the unified campus. Debra and her husband, John, have four children, three of which are graduates of both SGCS and SMCA. Her youngest child was in the first graduating class of the unified St. Michael’s Catholic Prep. Debra and her husband are proud philanthropists with their chosen areas of giving being Catholic Education and Children’s Health. They are supporters of the Diocese of Austin, St. Michael’s Prep, St. Ignatius Catholic School and Dell Children’s Hospital. Debra and John are active members
of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
