Andy de Waal

Director of Annual and Major Gifts
Andy de Waal is an experienced advancement professional with a 20-year career spanning nonprofit organizations, higher education, and independent school fundraising. She began her development career working with agencies that support survivors of domestic violence before joining The University of Texas at Austin, where she worked in foundation relations and later as a major gifts officer during the university's historic $2 billion campaign.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Andy became involved at St. Michael's Prep as a parent volunteer, ultimately serving as a Class Captain and chairing the Annual Fund before joining the Advancement team. As Director of Annual and Major Gifts, she partners with families,  grandparents, and friends of the school to inspire philanthropy and advance the mission of St. Michael's Prep. Andy and her husband are the proud parents of two St. Michael's Prep students, Larsen ('29) and Miles ('31).
