Jim Evans

Jim began his career as an attorney at Ford Motor Company concentrating on corporate transactions and strategic insurance initiatives. He established Ford’s first national insurance agency and successfully lobbied many states’ Departments of Insurance to approve new auto related insurance programs. In 2002, Jim founded Voluntary Benefits Solutions, LLC (“VBS”). VBS provides voluntary benefits consulting to mid and large market employer groups. Arthur J. Gallagher & Company (Gallagher) purchased VBS in June 2008. In March 2015 Jim founded The EHE Group, LLC (dba “BonusDrive”). BonusDrive is an exclusive voluntary benefit program for auto purchase and lease focusing on a frictionless, cash-back offer to both employees and policyholders of participating organizations and insurance companies. BonusDrive has provided over $80M in cash back to employees and insurance policyholders when purchasing or leasing new vehicles. Gallagher purchased BonusDrive in November 2019. Thereafter, Jim served as Gallagher's Global Practice Leader for voluntary benefits until his retirement in April 2025. Jim is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and received both his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from Wayne State University. Jim, his wife Stephanie and their three children are parishioners of Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway, Texas
