Dr. Alina Pruitt
English Language Arts Chair, Seventh Grade Instructor
Alina Pruitt has 25 total years of experience in K -12+ education, including a decade teaching grades 6 - 12 English Language Arts in Texas schools, and another decade at the university level. She previously served as English Department Chair and 9th - 12th grade English teacher at Marble Falls High School. She earned her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas Austin and a Master’s in Educational Technology from Texas State University. Alina, her husband, and two sons love hiking, backpacking, and star gazing; she also trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and writes as much as possible.
