Rodrigo Quintanar
Upper School Math Instructor
Rodrigo Quintanar brings a rich and varied background to his role as a math teacher and coach at St. Michael’s Prep. He holds two bachelor’s degrees in Actuarial Science and Finance, as well as two master’s degrees in Business and Sports Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
With over 13 years of teaching experience, Rodrigo has taught a range of subjects—from Financial Mathematics and Risk Management to Sports Business and elementary-level math. Prior to joining St. Michael’s Prep, he spent seven years teaching mathematics at the elementary level and served as a university lecturer at Anahuac University.
Rodrigo is certified in Math for grades 7–12 in Texas and is a Math Prep Ready Teacher through the University of North Texas. He also holds certifications in Data Analytics and Team Management.
In addition to teaching Geometry, Rodrigo brings more than a decade of football coaching experience to his role as Running Backs Coach. He has coached at various levels, including a previous post at the storied Permian High School in Odessa, and served as a Team Liaison for the NFL’s Super Bowl and International Series for five years.
In his free time, Rodrigo enjoys reading, running, and watching documentaries.
